In Loving Memory of Maktam.

Time really flies.. ya.

During the month of March, the narrative of how time flew over us is the most common subject among the family members and friends in their conversations in anticipation that Ramadan is soon approaching.

I guess i was a bit obsessed and got carried away by the life events that took place in my own small world that some of it has really emerged in reality in the shared world..

Making a long story short, after the trip to Sungkai, the whole family at home were infected with Covid-19. We did self quarantine and were calmed then as we have all taken the booster dose and knew what to expect and its remedy. And this blog felt posting the pictures from Sungkai trip has become irrelevant.

Alhamdulillah with the mercy and grants fom Allah swt we recovered well and regained our normal mood and health again. And today Ramadan have really passed us all.

Since we are stilll in the month of Syawal i guess it is still not too late for me to extend my greetings to you the readers of this humble blog a happy Eid al-Fitr or Selamat Hari Raya Aidil Fitri.

In the evening of the first day of Aidil Fitri, my younger sister-in-law whom the family addressed as Maktam was taken to the Hospital in Tanjung Karang by her husband after an excessive vomiting and breathing difficulty at her family home in Kuala Selangor. Later the hospital confirmed that she had a heart attacked and need to be transfered to another hospital where there would have the necessary facilities and specialist doctors.

She was then in Hospital Sg. Buloh in no time and later transfered again to the nearby Hospital Uitm due to the availability of a surgeon.

The news got around where members of the family started to visit to and fro, back and forth from home to the hospital. On the 3rd day she had an operation successfully and was under intensive care for recovery. But by the 4th day her condition suddenly went deteriorating.

And we prayed as hard as we could. Lately she was excited about having a new member to the family and are looking forward to have the official visit ‘merisek’ before their engagement to the soon-to-be daughter in law’s house.

From Allah we came, to Allah we shall return. Finally her eldest son announced the news to the family in the Whatsapp group that Maktam breathe her last on the afternoon 1.54pm on the fourth day of Hari Raya.

May Allah blessed her soul and grant her with Jannah. We surely will miss her.

Time do flies, folks but it waits no man, not even a second.. ya. May Allah bless us all.
